The second round saw 6 Jets travel to the picturesque course at Belair, in what were initially overcast conditions that gave way eventually to sunny skies.
It was another enjoyable day, not without its moments, but I doubt none will ever top the day at Gawler. The course itself was less demanding this round and that probably made way for a less frustrating day for us zigzaggers, with nowhere near as many balls lost, and then time lost because of it.

The second round of the league has now been booked for a 9.30 rock up for a 10 o clock tee off at Belair on Sunday 26th October.
12 places booked and 6 buggies too. cost being $25 and $17.50 respectively. buggies look good too! (about 45 bucks each). Optional meet at Clovey car Park 8.30am
Being there for 9.30 helps people who get lost and stops the mad rush for getting gear together at the last minute.

The innaugural Jets golf league kicked off with a bang on the weekend, with 9 of us making the trip to Gawler. A great day out, complete with thrills and spills and a bloody long day. Any longer, we would have needed tents.
Davey Mogg jnr walked away with the coveted title for the opening round with a fine round of 96, including a superb opening 9 of 44.
